Studio

Getting settled into a new home takes time. We had a good holiday season. Soon this year I'll be able to take a week vacation and devote it just to the shop. I'm excited about that. Here is a picture of our studio with all of our shop stuff. Nick built those beautiful shelves. Didn't he do a job?

An Update and New Items!

We have undergone a shift recently. We moved our entire shop to Kansas City! While adjusting to our new life together here and me adjusting to my new work schedule we haven't listed many of our new items. Believe me we have a lot. I am listing these gems today but we have a table full of items that need to be listed. We're getting married in August and even though we will be busy until the we will keep listing new items, at least once a week. Here is a sneak peek of new items going into the shop now!

Come check out the shop for yourself! We have been relatively busy with orders, which we are thankful for since we haven't listed a lot recently. Our goal is to reach 300 sales by the new year- currently we are at 155!
Have a great Tuesday! <3 Emma and Nick

An Update!

We are engaged! As of 7/23/11. It happened in Portland, OR when I went to visit Nick while he was working there. Portland is amazing! We got to see the adorable city with wonderful food and shopping, the mountains and waterfalls that floor you with their beauty, and a short drive to the ocean. The weather was absolutely perfect. When we came home to KC we had a casual engagement party with family. Our official wedding date is 9/15/2012, the same day as my parents'. Our families are big so an extreemly small wedding is out of the question, though I long for the feel of a small wedding. I have my dress, vintage of course! There will be lots of vintage elements and will be mostly DIY. We will post pictures of the process on here.
We can feel the Holiday Season creeping up on us. We have a few Christmas treats in the shop and this month is proving to be awesome! We are very excited to go through our first Holiday Season with this shop. We have great items for gifts for all different tastes. Be sure to check it out as we continue to add more throughout the season. We are aiming to make a goal of 100 sales by the new year! Happy Shopping!!

Bonjour Monsieur

Gorgeous find my Mom! Amalfi shoes with a sailor stripe flair. It's times like these I wish I was a 6.5!

This has proven to be a very popular item. 8 hearts and 1 treasury.

There are many, many new items in the shop, 18 new listings in the last two days. I have been a busy busy bee. Please stop by and take a gander here.

Also I just created our most successful treasury by far yesterday. Find it here, 128 views, 41 clicks and 3 favorites! Nick and I agree that color coded treasuries fair well.

It has been slow going in the shop I am sad to say even though the past few days have been the hardest I have ever worked on it. I love the new process of listing though, because you can create drafts and list them at a later date. So convenient for when you aren't able to devote much time to the shop on certain days.
***Happy Sales***

Zoo, The Taste, The Shop!

Amazing adventures were had in the last week. I also wanted to share a delicious appetizer treat that Nick made for me!

Triscuit Treats
On each triscuit:
A dollop of greek yogurt
a small chunk of feta cheese
a small slice of green or red pepper
a small chunk of avocado
kosher salt
ground cumin sprinkled on top

after nick left I also made a variation on the recipe by adding dried dill - both ways are delish!
A amazing new book find in the shop here. From the late 1800s.
